AI in the ESL Classroom Join us for the annual open meeting of Post-Secondary colleagues from throughout the state. In this meeting, we will talk about publishing in the MITESOL Journal, and we will review issues which have emerged in the current literature in this past year, and particularly the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the ESL classroom. We will discuss ethical issues related to AI, policies you might want to consider writing about the use of AI by students, and ideas to use AI as your ally (and not your enemy). led by Post-Secondary Interest Section Leader, Virginia David, Western Michigan University |

Focal points include MDE's new Home Language Survey questions, guidance regarding service time per student (relative to their WIDA scores), and their potential effect on ML programming in the K12 setting.
