U-M ELI seeks Summer English for Academic Purposes Instructors

The English Language Institute (ELI), a unit of the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, is seeking highly-qualified, experienced English for Academic Purposes instructors for two summer programs.


1.  We have approximately 2-3 openings in our English for Academic Purposes summer intensive program. We seek instructors with expertise in the following areas: 1) Academic writing and editing; 2) Interactive academic speaking. The number of positions and specific course assignments available are subject to enrollment.

Program dates: July 2 - August 10, 2018

2. approximately 1-3 highly qualified, experienced instructors of English as a Second Language/English for Academic Purposes to teach academic reading, writing, vocabulary and research skills in an intensive summer program for undergraduate students from Ajou University in South Korea, sponsored by the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts and offered jointly by ELI and the Nam Center for Korean Studies. All teaching assignments are subject to enrollment.
