K-12 educators can earn State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) for attending the conference. 

How much does it cost?

  •  $10, payable by cash or check (to Oakland Schools)

How many clock hours can I earn?

  • For both days (with the pre-conference): 15 hours
  • For both days:  10 hours
  • For one day: TBD (based on the sessions you attend) 

Do I have to register for the Conference?

Can I register (pay) for only one day of the Conference?    

  • No; registration includes both days.

What information must I have to receive SCECHs?

  • You must know your PIC (Personal Identification Code) to complete the SCECHs application.  
  • If you need help locating your PIC, please view the document here.  

What must I do to prove that I should receive SCECH's?

  • Register as a SCECH-earner at on-site check-in (where you'll get your name tag & program)
  • Pay the $10 fee by cash or check at on-site check-in  
  • Get your SCECH sheet signed and stamped at sessions you attend to verify your hours
