Liz is in her 14th year as the EL/Title III Coordinator and a secondary ESL teacher for the Ypsilanti Community Schools. Her interest in teaching ESL started with an internship at Ypsilanti High School during college, and after earning her MA TESOL from Eastern Michigan in 2005, was thrilled to return there. Liz is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has lived in the Dominican Republic and spent time in a variety of other countries, which has given her a great love and appreciation for learning about and working with people from cultures throughout the world.
